What is love?

I have two definitions of true love.

Although I have never been a particularly 'religious' person I set great meaning to the 'Until death do us part' vow taken in the traditional marriage ceremony.

Not one of us is perfect, no-one 'can expect to get it right first time every time'.

I have made that vow twice, the first time I got it wrong, she cheated on me within four years of the wedding.

Six years later, the marriage came to an end.

I have now been with my second wife for over 40 years, she was in an abusive relationship, and had 'got it wrong'.

She changed her name by deed pole and we lived together for 17 years before restating that all important vow 'Until death do us part.

The second definition I have is when you have found someone that you feel able to, or duty bound to, care for more than you care for yourself.

Ultimately ending in 'Until death do us part'.

Thanks buddy, been bowling with the concept for ages on end.
Unfortunately it is ending before it begun though, even though spend almost all morning with her yesterday, I can never forgive her of her own sins.

Yeah "Until Death does us apart." needs to let it sink in until the final time, of where it is prepaired in actions.

@Milo Willamson, it is all about commitment, total, 100% commitment to one person for the rest of your, and their, life.

If you are able to make that commitment then, I believe, you have found true love.

:)
True, it is not like the entire strasophere will ever know anyways, we can still be together without marrying one another,
I would love to keep my money and my farmground :)

Marriage is really not important unless it is something you both want, it can be beneficial of course.

I really do not want it, even though been somewhat subconsciously dreaming of a wonderful moment in history, of where we are both free and stuff, but none the less, she calls me her husband though, and that is all that matters to me :)

IT is not an online relationship, been together with A. M. for more then four years, we work together, share our thoughts, share our coffee, did the old fashion relationship thing, just become really tight friends, she met my cousins, my farmer's too, she knows it too well.
In the flesh better then being a loony bin online thing.
