Forgot fixed dialing pin phone asking for puk2 pin

I cant make or receive calls or texts. How do i fix this? I didnt knkw what fixed dialing was so i was playing around on my phone and make a pin and forgot before i realised what this feature was. Oops
you can talk to your provider as @Hadron suggested or you can try a hard reset. just keep in mind that you will need your origiinal google account info.....so make sure you know what that is before doing a hard reset.....otherwise you will trip FRP (factory reset protection). what device do you have?

Requiring the PUK code basically means the SIM is locked. And you'll have to get that from your carrier. Depending on your carrier, like if you have pre-paid, your PUK code might be included with documentation that came with the SIM.

Don't try to guess a PUK code, because I think it's after ten failed attempts and that permanently disables the SIM.

Most likely you will need a new SIM.
This should be free from your carrier- just bring it to them and say, 'My phone isn't working.'

If they can't figure it out, then tell them what you told us.

At that point they SHOULD be bright enough to try a new SIM card.

I don't believe in giving them more information than they need, hahaha.

Anyway, years ago I had a similar mishap, and even the carrier could not give me the proper PUK code for the SIM.
The carrier gave me the wrong codes untill only 3 tries were left, and then I had to go to the store and get a new card.

For some reason, nobody seemed to have the proper PUK code.

I once needed the code, my carrier were able to give it to me immediately. Guess some carriers are more competent than others ;).

I'd think that just telling them that the phone is asking for it would be enough information.

You would hope.
Of course, 'help' from my carrier was coming from the other side of the planet, and was not very helpful, to say the least.
