Can someone help, my wife sent me a screenshot, and I've never seen this icon before. What icon is this? She has a Galaxy s9. Please assist. I don't want to confront her about this and look like a jerk if it's nothing.

That appears to be a persistent notification for an app that was downloaded and installed. Can she pull down the notification shade and tap on it to get more information? It may be an app that another app installed because of permissions settings.

I'm trying to do this incognito since she sent me in a screenshot. I guess I should just confront her...? Unless someone knows what it is.

There is a Couples widget that may be causing it... if she's not super tech-savvy you might ask to check her phone for update to the OS... otherwise, if she sent you that screenshot you can innocently ask her: "wow, that's an interesting notification icon... 'Love'? Sounds romantic, what app is that so I can look into it?" and see what the response is...

She's not tech savvy, we're newlyweds, and I travel for work, wont be home until Wednesday. So the only real way I can confront her is by text or call, I would like to confront her face to face. It sucks, my mind is not at peace.

It may be something similar... and she may not know how to uninstall it now that the wedding day is past. So please don't go at her with laser beams coming out of your eyes, because that's a mushy, romantic thing for her to do. BTW congratulations on your recent marriage!

I mainly asked to have a peace of mind, you definitely put me more at ease. I will still confront her about it just to make sure, I am going to use a respectful and friendly approach of course.

I confronted her, and she laughed and wondered when I would ask her about it, apparently its from a app related to a TV show called Love Island, where you can cast votes to get contenders to advance or kicked off from the show. i downloaded the app and i can say it is. Thank goodness such a relief.
