Help Alarm dismiss won't come on lock screen

Hey folks.

My phone is a Galaxy A71, Android 10. Pretty new.

When a set alarm comes up my phone plays the alarm sound at the right time.

But:
- screen stays dark
- when I double touch the screen I get to the lock screen - no dismiss window
- I have to unlock the phone, find the alarm clock icon, press it and finally I have the dismiss screen.

This happens with 2 different alarm apps which are Alarm clock extreme and Easy alarm clock.

The built in alarm clock does what it should - showing the dismiss screen over the lock screen as soon as the alarm goes off.

What can I do to get at least one of the other alarm apps to present their dismiss window over the lock screen?

if the built in alarm works, then my guess is the issue is with those alarm apps you tried. you can try others and see if they will work or you can contact the developer and let them know that it does not work on the lockscreen.

I have fiddled with alarm and reminder apps as the built in clock didn't really do it for me. I've found that in many cases these types of issues can be solved by disabling all battery optimization and making sure all notifications are enabled, they all seem to suffer the same problems. In case you're still looking, the one I settled on is named "Just Reminder", works real well.

What's your solution? My old "just reminder" app doesn't work any more. I've been wanting to make one, but keep putting it off because I'm lazy and it's not high on my to do list.
