Getting Popups on Facebook Android

Lately I've been getting popups on the Facebook app on both my Android phone and tablet. It happens when I click on a story, and I guess it's on Facebook's internal browser, and I'm reading when all of a sudden a page pops up saying the site is not secure, and asking me to click on a link, which I don't do of course. I've ran a virus scan with Bit Defender, which I have on the devices, but it has turned up nothing. Any idea how to get rid of this annoyance?

just wipe data and cache for facebook

Or you can install an ad blocker, such as adguard, blockada, or no root firewall from the play store. Adguard will block ads which pop-up associated with certain apps, one being Facebook...

I just tried that for the first time.

I actually used YouCut (a video editor) and took a screenshot.

Pretty versatile for a free video editor.
