Help Getting purchased apps onto new phone

So I searched for this but the answers don't make sense. I purchased some apps for the Inc like Doodle jumper and now in 2 weeks I am getting a new phone because mine reboots all the time, So my question is, How do I easily re-install the apps I purchased? The answers keep saying once you log into your google account the phone will know but it doesn't, I tried it on my buddies Inc just to test and it still makes me put in CC info to get D.J. on that phone so i am worried I will have to re purchase any apps when the new one arrives. I tried to backup the apps but I cannot find the purchased ones in the private area unless it is rooted (according to forums)

Please let us know if your new phone reboots as well. Many believe it's a Verizon network issue. Others believe it's a phone software issue. While others think it's a hardware issue. Many have got replacements with the same problem. My phone reboots in low signal areas once or twice a week. HTC and Verizon are aware of the problem and promise a software update to fix it.

Note: If you want you can call Verzion they will note your account that you can exchange your phone after the 30 day period because there is a technical bulletin on this issue and you're waiting to see if it gets fixed. If not, you can exchange your phone after the 30 day period. You must have an open ticket AND you account must be noted that exchange is allowed after 30 day period.

he doesn't even have one, I went to his phone, setup my gmail account and still, I have enter CC info

There are several reasons why this might not be working.

-Its unlikely that your friend has never opened or downloaded anything from the market correct? If I remember correctly you have to sign into your Google Account to access the market.

-Its not likely to let you sync apps between 2 different phones at the same time. Are trying to add your account to his why still being active on your Incredible?

-If its not either of those problems then the Android Market advises doing a Factory Reset and re-signing in to your Google account.
