Dual sim - schedule independently?

It is possible but if manual I will forget sometimes to switch on or off ...
I completely understand not wanting manual. The tasker app should allow you to automatically toggle settings based on different criteria (location, time, etc.) but it is a complex app. Think of automateit on steroids. There is a whole forum for it. I'm not good at using it, but I understand how it works and it should be a solution for you.

Ye gods! I thought automateit was unfriendly. No "hi, this is automateit and this is how it works..." I suppose its not really a commercial thing so why would they bother.

Why oh why wouldn't Samsung have written it into the phones software, surely many people have personal sim / work sim.

Wish me luck. (Holds nose, dives in to "tasker").

Thanks, and for what its worth, I forgive you !

No worries. I'll move this thread to that forum and see if anyone has any ideas.

I think I'm getting somewhere with tasker.
There's quite a lot to learn although there is some very basic guidance. I am a little wary of the changes I might make. I'll watch a few YouTube. Screenshot attached

Hi all. I got a Samsung s10 for its dual sim capability. I need to have sim 1 (personal) on 24 hours but I need to schedule sim 2 (work) off at night. I looked at automateit but couldn't find it there. Any help appreciated.
(It is not a menu option, I have asked Samsung)

I also use 2 SIM cards in my Samsung phone (work/personal). But when I'm not working I don't want to receive phone calls and notifications from my work apps (Gmail, Teams and Slack). I looked in the Play store but could not find an app that provide this functionality.

So I build one myself together with a designer. The app is called: Hush - Call & notification blocking and gives you full control over all incoming phone calls and notifications. I use it to block phone calls to my work SIM card during the weekend and also blocks notifications from my work apps. Monday morning on 8.30 all the blocked notifications and calls show up again. You can also block just a selection of phone numbers.

Reading your question I think Hush might fit your needs as well.

Just installed Hush and seems to be working great. Now the only thing I miss is making the active sim switch automaticly at a given time. So that after work hours and the in the weekend it was the private sim that was set as the primary. If that function could be added to Hush it would be brillant. Anyone have a clue how to do it with Tasker?
