I was thinking the same thing. I think the first thig I'd wanna do when buying this phoen is put stock android on it

I Dunno if i like this UI, i was just wondering is there a way in which u can take UI of phone such as the Sense UI on the HTC Hero. Cause all the phone companies are trying to bring out their own UI for there android phones, but in my opinion the basic UI on either the HTC magic or the new one on the Motorola Droid looks so much smart and easier.

So if anyone knows any info on this much appreciate it cause thats the only real thing that puts me off buying the HTC HERO (UK).

I think these ui videos are more concepts than actual demos. What they will end up with will probably look a little more android.

Plus, I haven't actually seen slot to link the rachael ui to the x3, other than people getting the names confused. Could be a fancy win mo skin (albeit very unlikley)

I agree , The standard UI is the most pleasing for me being smart and easy , even though I admit others look Good looking too

& Yes It is possible to change the themes. You can Do stuff like Root the phone and put a different ROM on it {Dependant on Handset you choose and the ROM theme}. But A quick warning: Rooting your phone and Swapping ROM's etc can invalidate your warranty & also carries the risk of Bricking your phone. So if you brick it rendering it useless I'm afraid your on your own unless you can get it working again

Have you seen the video at all?

It's android because:

a) Has 3 homescreens like android
b) Has google search with voice widget like android
c) Has the sliding apps panel like android
d) Has the DroidSync app
e) Has the DroidWord
f) It doesn't have the win mo start bar

And yes, it is android. Notin wrong with a little 'speculation'
