Need a user manual for this forum!

I'm new here, and feel lost. I had a very helpful response to my first post. Good start. Now I have additional questions about the fresh answers, but I can't even find the questions, or how to communicate with the kind person who gave me the response. Don't know how to send my new additional problems for some help. Just in general seems overwhelming to even figure out how to use the forum correctly.

If you have a new problem it's often best to start another thread and someone will try their best to assist you. To find your previous thread, you should be able to click on your avatar found at the top right of the forum page and then click on your profile. A record should be there of all of your posts and threads. Clicking on them will take you to them.

also in the thread you posted in at the very bottom is where you can type in your post. if you look at the bottom of the post from another member, there should be a quote and reply button as well.

also to the very left will be you should see a home as well as your "threads" and "your posts" you can easily jump to those without searching the forum for the thread or post you are interested in.

and at the top next to your avatar you should see a bell icon. this is your notification icon. this will show you any responses from your post or thread or if someone mentioned or quoted you.

From looking at your post history, @Android Idiot 587, I see that you were able to find, and post in, your original thread. Yay! You got great advice to get you there, and that's what you can expect here!

So I just wanted to say welcome to Android Forums! :D And please rest assured that as you use the forum more, you'll become familiar with its features; pretty soon, it'll all be second nature. If you're ever having problems, just do what you did here: post! Someone(s) will come along and help you out. :)
