A day of EVO

Of course I took the day off to camp out at RadioShack, but I also scheduled a maintenance for my truck later that day - Oil change and tire rotation, and comprehensive safety inspection.

Being brought to work with my dad and walking down the street to the RadioShack and getting my EVO and walking back to work. I probably won't end up working very much, one of the luxuries of working with my dad.

If i want to go pick mine up at about 1pm i should be ok if i preordered right? .......other than that i will do my normal day go pick up my phone on lunch and load my appbrain apps to my phone...will wait until i get home to tinker with it...my screen protector is here already just waiting on my bluetooth and case to arrive within the next day or two. I will prob. shoot some videos and stuff like that on the way home since ive heard mixed things about the video recording....i see it being just perfect for a camera.

mine is easy... get to work at 7am... go to best buy around 8:30am - beg them at 9am to let me in.. my mobile guy likes me (might be the boobs LOL) so he just might... otherwise hang out until 10 and grab it

Then.. back to work to charge it and play with it

Sounds like myself. I made nice with the RS guy so maybe he'll open early as well. But I'll probably get there at 9am and then head to work to let it charge and play around with it.

Grrrrr, wasn't able to get an appointment until 12:30. I will be going to babysit a little girl like I do every Friday morning, but told her mom I had to leave at 11:30 because I want to get to BB early (by 11:45) and see if I can pick it up! Then I will go home and lock the kids outside to so they won't bother me while I'm playing with my NEW favorite child!

sounds like you have the perfect job...wish i could just roam and wait...i gotta have my butt in my seat on time and do my work...i still have quite a bit of freedom..but for some reason the whole being in the seat and starting work right at 8 thing is most important.

I'll be at Best Buy a little bit before it opens. Will pick up the phone, head home, take the bus to campus, and have the second day of my intensive Greek course for 2.5 hours. I'll use my 1-hour lunch break to play with the phone, then go back for another 2.5 hours of fun. I'll then go home for about thirty minutes, after which point I have to drive back to Houston for my sister's high school graduation. Not enough time in the day for my beloved Evo .

I wouldn't be able to pick it up from best buy (shoulda did radio shack) until 6pm when I get out of work. But that's fine, I'll have my zagg skin by then and as soon as I take it home I'm not even gonna play with it. I'm gonna apply the skin and let it sit overnight.

Then on saturday morning, gotta drop my wife off at work @ 7am and have until noon before she comes out of work. So I'll just kill time by setting up my phone and installing contacts and stuff.

I can't believe how much everyone is looking forward to this (including myself ). Now I know how those apple fanboys feel when an iphone/ipad comes out.

I was going to arrive at the Sprint store two hours early, at 5AM, but instead I will have had my EVO for over a week. That night I'm taking my girlfriend out on a nice date to (secretly) celebrate the EVO.

6/4?? Heck, with a little luck, FEDEX will show up at my office on 6/2 or 6/3 and lay the EVO in my anxious little hands. Of course, I might be setting myself up for disappointment, but the EVP folks say it's not unusual for them to ship phones several days before the official release date. It could happen, right?

Nothing special. My appointment at Radio Shack isn't until about noon, and I like sleeping in til about 10 or 11 anyway, so, I'll probably just wake up and go.

Well since I ordered through EVP with overnight shipping. And they said I will get an email once it ships. I will for some strange reason develop a nervous cough and call my boss that I will be sick and in bed, but will instead be camping next to my front door so that when the delivery man comes, I'll be there to greet him/her with open arms. lol

June 4th is my birthday

I'm going to request the day off (not for the phone, but for my b-day) and I'll be at Best Buy at 10:30 when they open since the one I'm going to is not opening early, nor are they taking appointments. I'll leave the phone at home to charge while I go shopping at Georgetown.

Then in the afternoon I'll read the manual and play with the phone and then take it with me that night when I party.

Can I borrow your boobs...they might come in handy. Ever thought of a time share, since I also need some work on my Cadillac?

As for me, I'm off. I'll go to RS or BB, whichever call first. Then go to the other to check out any accessories. THen my daughter has her Bridging Ceremony to go from Daisies to Brownies.

Full day.

Still could use the boobs, though.
