I have a question for folks who have this phone. Have you even used 5G? Do you see or notice a difference in connection? My concern, perhaps justified, is why should I spend all this money on a phone this expensive, that has a 5G that no one can actually use? Or can they? I would love to hear you experiences. Thank you.

I don't have this phone. i do have the note 10+ 5G and i got the 5G version because verizon told me that i would not have to pay the extra money for 5G once it goes live in my area. if there is a deal like that i would get the 5G version. right now i get 5G in bits and pieces here in L.A.

There are a couple of places where it doesn't work that well for me.

At home I use Wi-Fi unless there's a blackout.

On my way home from work while I'm riding the bus it stops as the public transit vehicle takes the Forest Hills Cemetery turn onto Morton Street.

Some might thinks that's Paranormal as it doesn't turn off at night; But think. Which carrier would put an antenna on top of a Cemetery hill?

I can only speak on Tmobile 5G and its a work in progress. Coverage in my area is good and the speeds are blazing fast (at night when it's less busy).

Daytime is a different story. Still faster than 4G but sometimes in other areas w/spotty coverage it's worse than 4g.

To go by Tmo's ads, you'd think they had the entire country under a flawless zippy 5G. I guess it's all how you advertise, no?

Now, this is just me, but my feeling? It would be foolish of me to toy with a 5G phone before there's consistent 5G.
It's pretty bad ass when I get it. There is a spot that I go to for lunch that gets 5G. It's does not have wifi so I have to use 5G. I can stream a movie or youtube and not have to worry about battery drain as it's strength is constant.

It's pretty amazing!!!
