Help Using SwiftKey Keyboard with WPS Office

I have both these apps installed on my Lenovo Yoga Tab 3. When I launch WPS Office the 'standard' keyboard appears and works OK. Nevertheless, I thought I might try using SwiftKey keyboard instead - but I can see no way of using it to input text to a WPS document. What am I missing? (And is it worth doing, anyhow?).

Thanks. Sorry to appear dim, but I am basically a MS Windows person and have only just started trying to tablet (surely that ought to be a verb?).
I have set it as default keyboard in the tablet 'Settings' and of course that works.
My other question remains - is there any advantage to using the SwiftKey app compared with the built-in keyboard? As a non-power user, I suspect the answer is 'no'.

I used SwiftKey with satisfaction for a long time. It eventually changed in ways I don't recall, but I looked at the other ones available. I ended up with the Ginger Keyboard, and you might give it a try.

Different keyboards offer different features, such as arrow keys, swipe typing, gestures, and more.

i started mobile computing with a couple of cheap tablets, and their native keyboards were pretty bad. That's why I switched to SwiftKey. When I upgraded to my current Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, I kept using SwiftKey. Bad mistake. When I finally tried the built-in keyboard, I was blown away by its superiority over all the others i had tried.

Samsung keyboards have been really good for a while now. Since my Note 8 i have been using the keyboard without a thought of having to use another.

I don't know the Lenovo Yoga, but this is WPS Office on my Samsung phone.

There's a keyboard icon at the bottom right, and that's used to select keyboards, like Gboard, Swiftkey, Samsung keyboard, etc. My previous Huawei phone, the keyboard was selected by pulling down the notification bar.
