left my phone on my car charger after I got home for about an hour, when I took it off it was burning hot.. looked in system app (thank you OTD) and it said my temperature was 110 degrees farenheit. I'm not familiar with the normal operation temperature so I don't know if this is off the charts or just above normal. Anybody have any ideas why this would happen?

No, I don't think this is normal at all. It appears that you and my wife are having the same issue.

I picked hers up yesterday after she told me her battery was already dead (about 5 hours earlier than it normally does). It was very hot when I grabbed it. I didn't check the temp on it but I have never felt a phone do that before.

After talking to Verizon today about this and other issues they suggested I bring it in to a store so they can test the battery. I was told the battery should not do this at all.
