Help Can't receive Text Msgs from two people

My wife's Motorola Edge started having problems with Messenger App.
It started with NOT receiving my Text Messages. I could receive hers, but she was not getting my replies.
Today the same problem is happening with our son in Arizona.

She is running Android 11

We don't see any Blocks or other obivous setting problems.

Can someone point us in a direction to look?

what phone do you and your son have?

I am using a Motorola Edge Plus with Android 11
My son is using a Google Pixel 6

Turns out my son's is working after all.
Another person is not working though. I am not able to find out the phone or carrier.

I can still receive from my wife, but she does not get mine.

try a different text messaging to determine if this is a software issue. you might have to talk to your carrier about your issue.

I had that problem for years on end, I keep switching in between messenging plus as well as the messenger service.
It did not matter what cell I owned either.. Try downloading a new messenger app, but as well as clear the cache too.

Well, out of the blue my wife's phone is receiving my text messages (including mms).

One of those things I guess....
It could have been one of the things we did, who cares? It works.

Sure Ron, I just happen to have a Moto Edge Plus

I have the Plus also.

One BIG thing I dislike about the phone is the location of the Speaker Function on the phone dialer. I keep hitting it with my ear and turning of Speaker.

You can close down the app and just scroll through your phone Oh, huh I have blue tooth hearing aids so that is not a big issue with me much.
