just a thought. it is growing in popularity. i mean Apple's app store saw the Occulus app as the number one downloaded app for the month of Dec. the Occulus app is needed for the Occulus Quest and Quest 2.......so that is huge if it was the #1 app on crapple's app store!!!!

i just picked up the Quest 2 and i love it so far.

Is VR even still much of a thing now, like it was a few years ago? Maybe VR is the latest fad for Crapple users? Next thing to top the iOS App Store might a fidget spinner app.

I've still got a Cardboard, but I haven't used it in long time, apart from briefly to see how it worked my new Note20 Ultra last July.
It's much better then what Google tried to put out there. The Quest 2 is extremely popular..... so much so that my local Best Buy was completely sold out during the week after Xmas!!!!!
I finally got mine after the the New Year. Been playing with it for about a week now. The controllers, the design of the headset, and the overall software is 10x better than Cardboard ever was. What is cool is if you set it up right, you can play vr PC games thru services like Steam. There is no longer a need to buy an expensive computer and an expensive headset like the HTC Vibe.

I honestly think the health of the forum is better suited to fewer forums. Better to just have an occulus channel in the apps and games forum
The problem is you only need the app to sign up for the Occulus account. Once that's done, the app is pretty much useless save for when they update the software.

The games and other apps you get directly within the store on the headset.
