My sister wants new head phones for her work..

Looking for probably crystal clear messages, able to zoom with her co-workers as well as different things in mind, I donno if she is able to tell me other details, so I am out of the blue with that one, wish I could really help with that in mind though. Not put in your ear buds though, but it has been several years since I had a pair of head phones, talking about in the 00's I had mine though. I have been using ear buds when I do need a break from my phonax, but I use my phonax for streaming and talking to on the cell too. So I have no idea how they would sound in her ear either.

Many headphones come with a mic anyway. But budget is key here. You also say nothing about sound quality except "crystal clear messages": is she not thinking of playing music through them? If she is, how fussy is she about the audio quality, and does she have any particular taste in sound style (does she prefer a neutral sound signature, bass heavy, or what)?

Something that can just provide a clear voice (speech) doesn't sound too demanding.

Does the reference to working in a book store mean that she needs to hear when someone speaks to her, that she doesn't want people to hear what she is playing (so a closed rather than an open design), or both?

Sorry, a lot of questions but there are an awful lot of options out there.

What is her budget?

Sounds like she wants a headset, not just headphones, as you mentioned zoom, so she wants a mic too, right?

Does she want single-ear or both?
Her budget is around 200 dollars at the moment, we both love to just budget and find the right prices and see if it is on sale.

I can give you more information at the bookstore, I used to work there, it is a pretty open space with a ton of mini work stations for comps, so she is looking for probably a ton of quiet tone and can hear her clients that are talking softly, it is one of those oldest fashion buildings ever.. I might able to sneak on the bookstore's twitter and able to screen shot if you are need a visualiation, two story and one massive library.

i agree with most on this list:
https://www.techradar.com/news/best-business-headphones-and-earphones

most are under $200. sony maakes really good head phones. i think most on this list are wireless though, not sure if that is a game changer or not.

my favorite is by Bose.....but they are not cheap.

whatever you do.....do not get Beats headphones. they are ok in sound, but they tend to break more often than not.....plus they are now owned by crapple.

I have yet to try this but I looked for the noisiest environment and wondered what mic and headset were being used. For me that is a trucker. I saw some truckers with headset with mic. They were very happy with the clarity of the sound even when driving. Visit a large TruckStop on your next trip and just poll the drivers with a headset on. LIKELY they purchased it in a similar setting.

So why did you reply on a closed thread?
