Root Root cliq xt

Hi- I know ive seen very many threads regarding rooting a Cliq but what about the Cliq XT. I dont want to brick my phone by doing the wrong root because I havent seen anything on the XT just the Cliq. HELP! Please and Thanks
Oh I dont know if this means anything but I do have the new 2.1 android market on this phone as well.

2.1 Android Market? How did you get that on there?

Yeah, I've been looking for some rooting info on the XT as well. From what I've seen so far, there aren't any devs that got this phone, which means no devs working on rooting it

It does need to be rooted though. It would make better use of the RAM and speed things up if apps could be run from the SD card. It would be a very snappy and responsive phone if that happened. Oh well

Any luck on rooting, I was wrong i have 1.6 on my phone not 2.1, that is still waiting to come out. Have you had any lagging issues with your phone or the keyboard staggering. Sometimes my service completely goes out and resets.

All of them issues. If 2.1 doesn't fix this phone it's off to the scrap heap. Very frustrated with it right now

I've had all of those problems as well...frequently. I thought maybe the device I'd gotten was defective but when TMO sent my replacement I had the exact same problems right from the start. The Cliq XT is terrible. My last hope is this next update, which of course will be coming to us last.

I Went through the same thing a few phones actually I realize now its the phone.I hope the update fixes this I really like the phone otherwise. I wonder how the 3G slide is working out. Anyone know anything new about when the update is coming out.

As I wrote in the other thread, straight from the mouth of a rep (not Tmobile) who'd know (as it's his/her area of speciality), as of yesterday:

The 2.1 upgrade for the Cliq and Cliq XT aren't compatible with MotoBlur, that's been the holdup for the last two months, and at this point will continue to be the holdup until the MotoBlur 1.5 prototype is released.

Look for it the last week of July in test markets, and the 2nd week of August nationwide. Until then, "enjoy" Android 1.5 a bit longer.

can we do the rooting cliq method on the cliq xt? i would try it but dont want to brick anything.. so please let me know if it is possible.. god i hope they come out for rooting for this phone, and hopefully they release 2.1 the first week of july, my boyfriend has 2.1 on his mytouch. Im very jealous

Look if motoblur is the issue, take it off my phone.its not worth sacrificing 2.1 or even better 2.2. So please hurry and if its really buggy its ok then take a little longer cuz I dont want some craptastic update either. So it all comes down to this, we've been waiting for like forever (about a month for me) so what's a little longer.im pretty shure there just having a hard time to make it work with motoblur , so about it.that's all I ask.
It will get here, and like they say, better late than never. ; )

I have huge problem , My Cliq xt was rooted ,then the superuser gone , i do not know why, then I become not able to root it again with any method either by super one or the alternative method, where is the problem ,,,,,,can anyone help me
