well when the OTA was sent out earlier this month for some reason it would not allow me to download it so i pushed download later. Well I still have not received it and everyone i know has gotten it. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to get the update pushed to my phone?

I'd call Verizon Cust Service.

I got Verizon's Level 2 support today they told me they are unable to push this update to me. Their solution was to send me a "certified replacement" phone that may or may not have 1.22.605.2. That seems like a hail mary to me.

Does anyone have the update file for the 1.22.605.0 to 1.22.605.2 for the DInc?

Otherwise so I can't update to Froyo unless they have a version that applies both updates.

here are the instructions from ACD168.. all credit goes to him for this info.

INSTRUCTIONS GETTING TO UP-TO-DATE 2.1 1.22.605.2

1) download the last 2.1 RUU from here - Index of /shipped/Incredible

2) open the RUU, don't use it though, just open it

3) go to start menu, search programs and files, and type "%TEMP%"

4) Now You'll see a bunch of folders that are named like this "{6D62E500-13A0-40F7-966B-A84B121949CA}"

5) click through them until you find another folder like "{6D62E500-13A0-40F7-966B-A84B121949CA}" and click in that and find a file called "ROM.zip" - Once you find this, click out of the RUU.

6) Now, rename this "ROM.zip" to "PB31IMG.zip" and put on the root of the SD card.

7) Power down the phone, turn back on by holding vol - down, and power to get into HBOOT.

8) When it asks if you want to update, click yes.

9) Let it do it's thing.

10) Continue with the OP directions to get you some "OFFICIAL 2.2 FROYO!!!"

Thanks for this reply rcrott1. Doesn't that wipe the phone to accomplish that? I really didn't want to wipe my phone. I use appbrain so I could easily reinstall but I'd rather not have to put all my home screens back together.

I found a link over on XDA and these two threads which confirm my idea of going from 1.22.605.0 to 1.22.605.2 first and then going FroYo.

Getting your phone ready for the FroYo update.zip!
Getting your phone ready for the FroYo update.zip! - xda-developers

[FOUND] OTA Update Link! - Page 2 - xda-developers

The first one I think is the better thread to use but the second one had a link to the update file that wasn't on an HTTPS server so you don't get the bad certificate warning.

I looked around FOREVER to find this file. After intense searching, some brief periods of banging my head into a wall, being told by a CSR that I needed to take it to a store (and a partridge in a pear tree) I have finally found my long, lost update. Rooting was worth it for the time being, but the headache of unrooting and then partially updating so that I can recieve 2.2 was more than enough to make me not want to root ever again.
