This is Alpha an build. Which means it will not be fully functional. Once the source is released then we can began editing files to get this thing working correctly.

What to expect from this build...

It should boot up, and you should be able to navigate through the OS. You should also be able to access Recovery and Download mode. Root works fine and ADB shell work fine. But you will be able to flash back to other ROMS.

Heads up:
Radio doesn't work (calls, SMS, internet, etc)
SD mount doesn't work
Sound doesn't work
keyboard, volume doesn't work
Light on home, menu, back, and keyboard working fine(fixed in alpha 3)
Vibrate working fine(fixed in alpha 3)
2d graphic is working fine(fixed in alpha 3)
Wifi and Bluetooth doesn't work.
System crashes every 3 to 5 minutes

what's the big boast about froyo? I know 2.1 was supposed to be leagues more stable and had live wallpapers and 3d gallery (plus the new google apps).

I've read about some like ridicules speed increases (400%+) and enhancements that again use less battery life. Also, there was a bunch of other things. Check out Android Central they have been talking about it on their main screen often in the last couple of days. I'm most looking forward to built in voice dialing, which is rumored to be added.
