Review i've been waiting 4 - PhoneDog!

Not to be rude, but how the hell is EVERYTHING I NEED IS THERE?

Its a new review, I suppose the mod can merge it, and do you really need to quote me! when you are the first reply, For God sakes!

I quote everyone I respond to, spend enough time on a forum you will understand why.

I was just pointing out the obvious, and there is no reason to merge as it's already there.

Wow, much as I love the EVO, it takes forever for it to start back up from a hard boot ( i think that's the correct term) from the time he inserted the battery at 6:50 until the time the lock screen came up at 8:38, that's almost literally 2 minutes for it to come back on.

I haven't had a smartphone before but does that seem extreme to anybody or is that fairly typical of something that is equivalent to a miniature computer?

thats the norm

My iPhone 3gs starts up in 23 seconds and turns off in 9 seconds, so I wouldn't really say it's the norm. I've never owned an Android so I'm not sure if that's the norm for Android or not though.

I'm thinking about making the dive into Android because of the Evo, but I'm going to wait until the iPhone anouncement in a couple weeks first to compare the two. Either way, startup and shut down time really isn't that important. I only restart my phone about once a week on average anyways.

My BlackBerry Pearl takes a solid 5 minutes and it's frustrating as hell!

Thank God I only have to put up with that shat for one more week.
