Beautiful ROM and very snappy using the themed launcherPro and stock kernel. However, I'm having trouble running scripts. When I try to add the G1 IM app it say says it's installed but it doesn't show up anywhere. Also the camera sound off script says "looks like the video camera video not found" when entered.
I ran the goodies update zip and also have it on the root of my SD card, still nothing. Any help is appreciated.

In terminal emulator i'm typing "su" then "nameofscript" then "enter" like always. Is this correct?

Hows the battery life on this version? Loved the theme, but always had horrible battery life...

To be honest the battery life is "ok" on cyanogenmod based roms (cyanogenmod is still by far freaking awesome though). If you are looking for a rom w/ tons of extra features like a2sd, extra settings, customized spare parts, custom launcher, etc. then this is the rom for you.

If you are looking for better battery life on a stable ese81 rom try out my new rom the shiz. It is built from source and has all the goodies and themes you see here.

redownload the goodies and run the scripts again.. just realized the goodies were currupt. They should be good now. Sorry for the inconvience.

Thanks jrummy, I've re-downloaded the scripts and they seem to be working except the "soundoff" for the camera

You still deserve a donation for such a sweet looking ROM :D

Yeah, accidentlt wrote the script wrong when I was updating them. you can still do this though in terminal:

su
mountsys
mv /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.bak
mv /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.ogg /system/media/audio/ui/VideoRecord.bak
unmountsys
sync

I've been running NexBeast V1 for the longest I've ever run a ROM (several weeks now) but I'm hankering for something new and this looks really good.

The last CM ROM I had (5.0.6.2) wasn't nearly as smooth as NexBeast V1 (on my phone, at least) and that's the only thing that has me hesitant. But man do I miss that 5-column app-drawer.

Ok this thing is flying!!! Awesome work as always Jrummy (and N8 too of course)...

Question, in ROM Manager do we need to download all three of the options under Goodies to get everything (i.e. Goodies, Boot Animations, and Scripts) or is everything in that first Goodies option and the other two there in case someone just wants them seperate?

For some reason I can't check off the feature for Apps2SD, how do I enable it?

You're right the last CM 5.0.6.2 ROM wasn't smooth at all for me either. My homescreen had a major lag and was constantly redrawing itself even after keeping the launcher in memory in spare parts.

I had my doubts about trying CM again but this remix version looks so cool that I had to give it another try. I'm using the themed launcherPRO and it screams. I'm glad I gave it another shot

This is the best damn ROM besides nexbeast. that was really good for me but started to lag and have FC issues more than a little. my ? is how do I get Titanium BU to work properly with this? I want to restore all my apps but it will only reload the apps that the market recognizes, as well as trying to restore my call log and text msgs. It will say info restored but it's not there under that app.

For the call log and text msgs, you need to reboot to get them to show back up...

i am pretty new to the root scene and would appreciate some help if someone is willing. Okay I had a stock 2.1 droid and using SPRecovery i used the relatively newish method where I rooted it where my Firmware is still 2.1 and the buld number is ESE81 by Pete. I believe it is a rooted ROM and not the old way of downgrading to 2.0.1 first. Okay, that being said, seeing as this is a ROM as well can I just download this to root and update just as if it were a normal update? or do i have to go through all of the SPRecovery stuff again? Again, I apologize for my noob-ways

No need for all that. Make sure when you download this Rom to change the name to update.zip. then go into recovery mode by holdthe power button and X on the keyboard. This will put you into recovery mode. It's always good to make a b/u of the Rom your on. Next, just select allow update and then select install update zip and you are good to go
