I have (2) gmail accounts and (1) yahoo account.
The Yahoo account is sync to 07 Outlook (email, calendar, and notes).
Plan to Gsyncit so I can keep all my calendar, email and notes from the outlook.
Since I have never worked with Androids before, this will be a stupid question for the experts.
Since I have (3) sets of contacts (each of the gmail and outlook) and some are duplicates, what is the best way to approach this?
With my BB, I have the option of selecting which account to send once I select the contact.
Or should I go through all the contacts and consolidate them (would be a painful task)
Thanks for your input.

Well as far as I know you can only have one gmail account on the phone. Now you may be able to set the second one up with the internal mail client and sync contacts from there. I have GMAIL, Yahoo, and Work (Exchange) all tied in. I only have one GMAIL account so I can't help ya there. Rest should be easy to set up though.

OH I did see that Android 2.2 will allow for more GMail accounts.

You can have multiple calendars from different accounts as well.

Don't know how to answer the OP's question, but you can have more than 1 account in Gmail. I have this going, and even though it's not a unified inbox, you get notifications from both and switching is just one Menu press away.

Sweet!. I have never needed to use 2 but its good to know that you can do it. I think that will make the op happy.

To the OP. Although I think you will have options to deal with multiple accounts, I would just bite the bullet and consolidate.

why???

Cause for now, at least, and maybe a long while after, having ONE Gmail, that just has everything, really does seem to be the way the "system" is pushing things. I too faced the same issue a month ago, and am grateful now that I finally just have everything on Gmail an then sorted from there.

I just feel more organized as I use the phone now, and know everything is snap to move from my Hero to evo next week
