I read a bit about live wallpaper while i am waiting for the EVO, does it need anything special to run live wallpaper and can the HTC hero running sprint andriod 2.1 support it too.

I think initially I'm going to just run the special HTC Sense live wallpaper - its simple and colorful and should do a good job of showing off the device to everybody I meet

I agree but isn't it awesome that we have so many different options. If we should get bored of one, we have soo many others to choose from. I wonder if the "seeds of life" will get my gf preggers lol

no problem Im a little new too. Using bettercut(not free) you can change homescreen icons. that along with the Glasklart icon pack (free) will get you this look. They have alot of icon packs on the market

Its been Great so far. Have had the sd reader act up on me a few times but other than that you have to really nitpick to find things wrong with this phone. Unless your expectations are unrealistic, you wont be disappointed.

back on topic:: theres a free LED scrolling live wallpaper in the market that pretty customizable too.

word of caution, these live wallpapers can make other animations on the phone stutter/slow down slightly. Its not major but will def be up to you if its worth it. (sidenote::this is also with me running 3 different launchers-sense,default,and AWD launcher, so it might not do so on a stock/just sense set up)
