Clarivue anti glare screen protector

Installed my clarivue last night. It was really easy to install.

This really helps with visibility outside, the screen isn't reflective like a mirror anymore. The touch screen doesn't feel as good as naked, but it repels fingerprints so I think it's worth the trade off.

Excuse the dust.

Does anyone know if there are any other decent/good anti fingerprint screen protectors available for the Evo? I've got my body cases picked out, but need to find a screen protector!

mine was shipped within 2 days.. but i still ahven't received it yet.. go figure

don't remember where it was but in a review you could CLEARLY see the dots used in the capacitive layer of the screen bright as day.

if you don't know what i'm talking about it's what all capacitive screens use to sense where you are touching basically they have "sensors" lined up in a grid across the screen... on the incredible you could actually see the "sensors" and it looked irritating as hell

Hmmm......... interesting. Thanks for the reply, I will look into it. I imagine it would be irritating, heck, I know already that the cutouts in the Clarivue are gonna bug me :D

*Edit* yeah, I just looked it up, those dots would bug. I hope the EVO doesn't have them.

one thing about the screen i'm not noticing on this phone or any other photos are the grid dots for the capacitive screen that the incredible so blatantly showed... anyone seeing it on the EVO?

Highly doubt the EVO will have these dots noticeable... i *think* (i'm no expert, just a geek ) that the reason the Incredible's grid is so obvious is that uber thin AMOLED screen it uses... i've seen some bare naked OLED's and they do tend to be slightly Opaque, and since the EVO uses an LCD< i doubt it will be seen. :D

Just a head-ups, even though Clarivue is listed as back-order, several people on the forums, including myself, have had their skins ship 2 or 3 days after placing an order, so don't trust the 4-8 day thing.

Also, although I like the prospect of anti-fingerprint, the fact that the screen isn't as smooth and appears dimmer is a turn-off, I wish they would make an anti-fingerprint screen that didn't sacrifice one over the other.

I'm going to try the Ultra-Clear though, and I may just take it off if it bugs me too much.

I ordered my Clarivue SP's on the 27th and the email said they were backordered, Then on the 28th I got a shipment notification. Hopefully they show up in time :D

For the record, what are the screen protectors that DOES NOT live fingerprints on the phone? That's my main concern.

ZAGG InvisibleShield is out because I installed in the Incredible and fingerprints are all over this.

What are the others?

NO fingerprints whatsoever.
Never seen a miraculous one like that. For me the most fingerprint resistant one I ever used was an Steinheil anti-glare on my TP2. But that one still had a bit of fingerprints visible, it was vastly better than the clear one I got from them however. Unfortunately they haven't introduced any EVO accessories yet.
