i dont understand why when they have the galaxy s coming they then bring out something newer only to put a crappy version of linux on it! symbian i could kind of understand.

Samsung I8330 to be Vodafone

Yeah i saw that but its Ugly as hell and according to that its getting a Qualcomm Processor not the hummingbird and no Android and Vodafone is yukky lol.

The only advantage is the camera and the fact its got a flash.

yea true but didnt think it was a huge difference they all look similiar these days, some reports say it does have the humingbird.

cant see the sense not going with android, but i think this thing will be cheap more choice can only mean better pricing all round hopefully.

well firstly the design is just awesome and u know it! lol

and they are using a new ips panel with higher resolution i dont expect it to be as good but might come quite close!

Yeah true i would like to see IPS side by side with Super Amoled see how they look next to each other , I guess its worth waiting to see what Apple comes out with then although us "soon to be" Galaxy owners are gonna look pretty scarce lol.

I imagine they can't use Super AMOLED because they can't get it to 960x640 cheaply enough.

I heard they did'nt want Super Amoleds because Samsung said they would'nt be able to keep up with supply especially if you consider Samsung is already busy with all the Amoled screens for HTC phones etc.

I would bet it's a bit of both. HTC Incredibles are on backorder because they can't get the screens.
