Watch out if you drop your phone...

Just wanted to throw a little something out here about an experience I had over the weekend:

**Please note my phone does not have a case or screen protector**

I will say that officially if the phone lands on a corner it will be okay. I accidentally tested this when I had a bit too much to drink on Sunday night. This however is not what I wanted to mention.

Watch out if your phone falls on the top, mine did this last night and now the lock/unlock button is half stuck down thus making it very sensitive. I'm not sure if anyone has suggestions to rectify this but if you have any ideas let me know.

sorry for your woes. get insurance! also get the silicon vzw case it covers the buttons and should still work and you wont see that the button is messed up.

The button is still working it's just incredibly sensitive at this point. I'm sure I'll live, but I never really thought so much about protecting that button. It only fell about 15" too.

that stinks! i was going naked for a while and just got scared. i have come to like the vzw silicone case but the phone is better with nothing protecting it. except if you drop it. i say check out the case if you can it will help becuase it will keep the button snug.

I'll have to check it out I suppose. I've always hated cases, but I guess I should just bite the bullet.

For a while I didn't have anything on my phone because there just weren't accessories around. I have some cases now that I found online.

Second day I had the phone, I was being very careful because it was naked. Then I trip going up the stairs outside of work and my phone hits the steps. Other than a small ding near the screen, it's fine but I certainly couldn't wait to get my case after that.

I thought I read that's a problem happening to some people if they don't drop their phone but use their button too much. Someone said to carefully use a butter knife with the case off to pop it back up. IIRC

i tried it with a thin sturdy piece of plastic with no luck but I'll try this, thanks for the suggestion
