I plan to order one about the middle of July. It looks like it is taking several weeks to get one. If I do get one, will it be a brand new one, not refurbished or anything like that?

I know why they are not readily available, but why are the Verizon stores not getting a larger quantity in? So I order one and then several weeks later I get one that just happens to have the necessary parts needed to make one.

Thanks.

You will get a new phone since thats what you are buying. :)

From what a Best Buy store rep told me, the way that Verizon orders the phones is different than Best Buy and its why they are sold out. Something about Verizon ordering as a whole and placing a huge order and then distributing out to stores where Best Buy stores are responsible for ordering them selves so they have a bunch of small orders. Thats what I was told.

I just ordered online. The chat sales rep told me to expect the phone some time next week.

At the corporate store they said it would be a month before I would see my phone. At the Express store they said they would put my name on a list and call me if they get any in. Best Buy told me today that they are all out in our city and don't know when to expect them in.

I am not due for a new phone until August 1. However I was told I probably could get one early at the $199 price if I get a manager to approve it because I have been such a long time customer.

don't think I can order online because it would be $529. So I was wondering about calling Verizon on the phone.

I got my upgrade a month early... You may be able to get it early as well. It is all about getting the right CSR on the phone. I would suggest calling mid day, mid week. I think the better reps work those hours. You should also be able to get the phone for 150.00 with the "new every two" deal.

I believe I am up for a new phone after only 1 year. I thought the price would be $199. Can I try and get it for the $150 you mentioned. That would be awesome!

I was one month short of a year on my old phone. i kept calling until I they got a managers approval to move up my date. I ordered the phone online and received it on 4/29. I have been with VZW since they days of the pager so I called back again and talked to another CSR to see if there were any other discounts I could get. After talking with her for 10 mins she said there are no special offers to get the phone, I would have to pay the 199 but she gave me a one month service credit on my bill. So... 199.99 - 60.00 (credit) = 139.99. I would keep calling and be polite.. you will eventually hit the one CSR that is willing to help. Good Luck!!!

Verizon store is the worst place to get your phone. You get a $100 debit card mailed in.

Online and BB are instant discount.

I believe this was an attempt to spark online sales but in fact it's just deterring sales to BB and instant discountable 3rd party stores alike.

I've purchased two Inc's in separate transactions at the VZW store and in both instances I was given an instant 100.00 rebate.
