so after reading 3 pages of search threads I still need help.
Problems
Text mes. will not vibrate even though set to ring and vibrate

ringtones on calls only sound for a split second then stay quiet, so unless I hear it right away I miss the call

Swype green just stopped working only had it a few weeks. Still in download but cant install again

long lag time 30% of time

receive e mails but cannot send out e mails anymore

Had no problems, updated 2.1 last month its only now I have problems but not intially when I updated.

Please advise if I can fix or need a new phone, would like to keep this if I can

Ever since the update, the phone has been pretty flaky, but I'll try to help out here:

Go to: Messages>menu>Settings>Received messages

Make sure Vibrate is checked

ringtones on calls only sound for a split second then stay quiet, so unless I hear it right away I miss the call

Go to: menu>Settings>Sound & Display>Sound settings

De-select "Quiet ring on pickup"

If you haven't already done a factory reset, you may want to consider it, otherwise, from what I have read, turning off Audible touch tones is supposed to help the lag associated with making phonecalls.
