Yet another ? that is probably answered somewhere in this mass collection of confusion, but as I seeked I could not find. I try very hard to find an answer for myself before asking a question so if I missed this somewhere I am sorry.

How do I flash a new rom? I am currently using Ivans, kicks ass by the way.

Boot into recovery: Power off, then simultaneously press and hold Vol-Up and End/Power until the screen lights up.

1) (optional) Make a Nandroid backup of your current ROM (under the Backup/Restore menu #3)
2) Wipe Dalvik Cache (under the Wipe Menu #5)
3) Wipe Data/Factory Reset (under the Wipe Menu #5)
4) Flash zip from SD card. (#4)

Thanks. Just want to make sure I got it right. Will I have to reinstall my apps? Or does nandroid back them up?

Yes, you will have to reinstall your apps.
The Nandroid backup is only in case you do not like this new rom, or it screws up your phone. Then it will take you back to your previous rom with all apps already installed.... like if you never did anything.

Try Titanium backup before flashing your new rom. It will backup all your apps.
