Which option for my best bet at getting the phone tomorrow?

I missed out on preordering, so I am looking for the next best option which could put the phone in my hands tomorrow. I work 3rd shift and get off at 7am. So I should be able to make it to my closest corporate sprint store almost an hour before they open. But I am wondering if they will have any phones not reserved for preorders. There is another sprint store that didn't do preorders that I can get to around 7:30, but again I still don't know how mnay phones they will have, or if there will be a line.

That first sprint store is pretty close to both a radio shack and a best buy. I feel like I want to hit the closer store first and if they don't have any available at 8 when they open then I can try radio shack, best buy or the other sprint store that has them first come first serve. I'm just wondering how long my wait might be at the first store before I am able to find out if I can get a phone from them. I'd hate to be stuck there till 10 or 11 and miss out on getting the phone somewhere else.

I have approximately 6 best buys, 4-5 radio shacks and 12 sprint(8 corporate, 4 private owned) stores within 30 minutes of where I live.

So what's everybody thinking is the best bet to get the phone for those of us that didn't preorder?

Honestly, just because Sprint is cheaper, I would try there. They're also more likely to have extras on top of all the pre-orders. Price and quantity are lowest and highest (respectively) at Sprint stores, from what I've heard so far (rumors that are never ever never reliable). If you do hit a Sprint store though, try a corporate one.

#1 Rumor...corporate stores taking "pre-orders". I called 7 corporate stores here in TX and not a single one took pre-orders. All told me about 50 sets will be available FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Retailers are getting about 7-20. Corporate; about 50.

I called a sprint store or 5 and they all said they stopped taking preorders. That makes me think they did at one point take preorders. But yeah one of them I called said they didn't do preorders. I think I will just hit up the corporate store that is like 5 minutes from my work. You think the lines will be that big an hour before opening? Some people probably don't even know they are opening early.

I can try to see if they will let me off work a little early if need be

If you make your rounds at 7am i think you will be ok. The only thing open that early will be Radio Shack.

I would print out the numbers to all the close Radio Shacks, start calling them at 7 am when you get off work. I think you will find one with one by doing that, if that does not work i would heard to the closest Sprint Corporate store.

The Sprint corporate store I called today said they will be open at 6am tomorrow...

Sprint is cheaper than BB or RS? I thought both BB and RS were applying the $100 MIR as an instant rebate, whereas with Sprint you had to mail it in.
