How does employee discounts work?

So like all of you, I'm really excited about the EVO. Unfortunately I have a SERO plan and I got shot down for the 10/24 discount. I'm gonna try to get an employee discount instead, maybe 15% or 25% off.

My question is, do I activate this discount before getting my EVO or do it after? I don't wanna lose my SERO and not get the employee discount either.

10 bucks off for the next 24 months.

Pretty common to get people of the SERO plans (old plan), or if someone whose contract is up calls in saying they are going to switch the the new iphone or something and complains about the $10 evo fee.

I know my discount (20%) which i have got for a few people now, it works like this normally you set whatever up then you add it on your phone/plan. It normally takes 2-3 months for it to take effect. Once on though, it will stay on and you will not need to add it again if you make any phone swaps or changes.

im just going to walk in tomorrow and get the 13% credit union discount

my cell provider is currently page plus do i get a discount for changing providers?

what other tricks should we know about?

Thanks for the clarification. I think I'm gonna get the EVO after all and hope for a discount applied to my account
