It was fully charged at 11 when i went to work, came home around 4 and it still had a good amount left on it. Charged it for..15 mins, and went away till the present time of 12:42. According to my battery widget it has 13% left. I also used sprints navigation for about two hours..so yeah.

I have wi-fi/gps/4g/etc turned off and its lasted me maybe 4 or 5 hours and still prob have 25% left... that being said it seems to be draining pretty quickly right now. Not sure why :/

Check out the battery meter under settings, it breaks down the battery life. Once I installed and used advance task killer, my battery life went from like 5 hours to 10 hours, with 4g.

I charged mine to 100% around 10am. It's now 2am and I'm down to 4%. I've been beating the hell out of it all day installing apps, configuring, playing mp3s, FM Radio, browsing the web, Facebook, a couple tweets/texts.

I think the battery will be just fine. Normal use with my Hero got me to ~50% every day. I expect similar when my usage pattern settles down.

with the 50% that came with the phone it lasted 3-4 hrs. after i charged it again im still on 48% after 7hrs. 2 hrs of this 7 were heavy the remaining 5 hrs were light.

i imagine if you use the phone lightly - mediocre it will last 8-12 hrs. 5-7 if use pretty heavily. but honestly i could kill my old verizon flip phone after 4 hrs of talking

got mine around 10:30am and took it home to charge immediately. it was about 1 or 2 pm that i felt it was fully charged so i unplugged it. i've pretty much been messing with it all day installing apps, browsing websites, music/video, etc. and the phone finally died a little after midnight.

i had 4g turned off from when i unplugged it and a few hours into using the phone i turned gps off. so i basically got around 9 hours of moderately heavy usage out of it.

Bought a spare ‘OEM’ battery ‘pre-launch’ so I had it ready to go… on the charger for 24 hours before picking up the phone @ 7:30AM… placed the charged battery into the phone @ 8:00 AM EST and put the battery from the box into a charger…
First battery went from 8am – 6:00pm with fairly heavy use and then back into charger @ < 10% capacity. Spent most of that time ‘playing’ with everything I could find youtube, camera, email, etc… installed lots of apps… Thanks App Brain! A couple of phone calls… and last but not least, the MicroSD OTA update.
All the while I had the following radios turned off… GPS, Bluetooth, 4G (Rumor is November J) … WiFi was powered on as I needed to connect to a 802.1x wireless… some challenges with certificates, but the PHP method worked great! I basically replicated what these folks are doing here…
http://www.realmb.com/2010/01/android-certificate-installer/
Sense UI Exchange ActiveSync support… with a ‘self signed certificate’… was a dismal failure! If anyone has some suggestions here, I’m all ears… yeah… yeah… who hosts an exchange server with a self signed cert… apparently ‘we’ do.
