icons gone

This is the second time in the four days I have had the phone that the icons all disappeared and all the original screens have returned the only thing left unchanged was the icon I put a page to turn off the mobile web this is frustrating because I have to drag and drop my icons all over again though I think the first time was right after it upgraded to 2.1 but this time all I did was let it charge overnight and when i woke up they were all gone and the home pages all looked like they did when I first got it.

I did try turning it off and back on but they are still gone

Have you tried a factory reset? Since you said it started doing it after the 2.1 update, that would probably fix it.

Please note that everything but your memory card will be erased! So take note of that.

No the first time was after it restarted after the update which they said was normal

Well if it keeps deleting your icons, it isn't normal now, is it?
