Help Linpack Screenshots

So I will be getting my Incredible in on Monday. However, after seeing the Linpack screenshots for the MotoDroid at 2.2 I am wondering if the Incredible really is all that fast. I mean how come the Incredible is slower than the N1 if it has the same hardware? I know the difference is small but I just don't understand that.

Also, how do they get the Shadow/Xtreme specs before it is released? Those specs are amazing, maybe I should have waited.

Here is a link to the screenshots: Post Your Motorola Droid Froyo Quadrant Scores! | Droid Life: A Motorola Droid Blog

EDIT: The reason I am wondering about the 2.2 specs is because ours should be comparable to the Nexus One. How could the MotoDroid be so much faster than the N1?

I'm not looking to bash any phone, I am just confused as to how this works out.

Running quadrant test now as well

That first test was LinPack, its not the graph you see in the link, thats Quadrant. Hold on let me get my camera and take a pic of the graph I just got using quadrant.

Dont feel like loading up SDK

Cant take a pic with camera too blurry..

Wanna talk me through how to take screen shot through sdk? Forgwet how

the Inc with 2.2 will be faster than the Droid with 2.2. the snapdragon is a faster processor and the inc has more RAM. the inc with 2.1 is faster than the droid, so it's safe to say that the inc with 2.2 will be faster than the droid.
Thats what I thought to but in the screenshot you can see that the Droid with 2.2 is faster than the Nexus One with 2.2.

Yes it was, but can the Nexus One be overclocked? I've read that the Snapdragon processor can't be overclocked to the level of the Droid due to heat issues.

Because of this the MotoDroid can in effect be faster than a Nexus One after overclocking.

Right, with a 65nm process, you're seeing the ceiling on both of these processors around ~1.2GHz. I've seen Droids do 1.3GHz+, and N1's around 1.2.

The Droid score in the SS was clocked at 1GHz, matching the Snapdragon in the N1 and Inc. The reason it scored better is probably because of the superior GPU in the OMAP3 vs Snapdragon SOC.

EDIT: and here's mine at 1GHz :p

That makes sense. I don't think I am going to worry about it lol. The Incredible will be plenty fast for a year and a half until I am up for a new one. Especially because this will be my first smartphone!

Here is a screenshot with instructions that I found on Reddit, sorry for the rest of the picture lol. It was posted in the Apple subreddit.

Unfortunately, you need root to take screenshots directly from the phone.

No you don't.

You can go through SDK like I just did. Posted the pics for you above

I just forgot the command to enter but I found it in another thread.

Its ddms.bat NOT ddms.exe in case your trying. Well actually I didnt try .exe but in the Incredible layout it says .bat and it worked for me
