Help Calculator with memory buttons? M+ and M-

they are memory buttons. so they will hold a number so you can use it again later.

you do one calculation hit M+ it saves the number to memory then do another one and hit M- it will save the new # to memory.

i wish i knew how to program i would make it myself but i dont :(

Actually, the M- button subtracts the number on the screen from the number in memory. I've tested this on a (real) calculator just to make sure. Are you sure that's what you want?

I guess if it works for you. It does not work for me (Samsung Moment). Held + for 5 minutes. Besides, if it did work for me, how do you get MR so you know what was added together, hummmm.

MR you just hold down the X button. Of course it doesn't work for you since we have Sense UI which uses a different calculator. This is the Incredible forum...

Anyone know a simple calculator app that has M+ and M- buttons? I cannot find one driving me crazy! I found one that has a "M" button but you need to press "+" or "-" to get that functionality. i am looking for an app with dedicated buttons.

thanks

Hi - Don't know if you've found a calculator that suits your needs but if not - contact me, (fred.gravel@lethbridge.ca) I have designed one with all the appropriate memory keys and lots of extras. It's more or less in testing so may not be totally bug free, but I'm willing to work them out and ... the price is right (free)
