Hey I'm using the interactive grass background that's supposed to be bright blue skys during the day and dark blue sky in the night, however it seems like it's gotten stuck on night mode now and it's always dark blue skys.

I dont use the mobile internet network but WIFI from time to time, I'm guessing there's some component that checks when sunset and sunrise is on the internet, can this be triggered manually somehow?

Another problem I have is the Messages widget has a "(1)" on it but I cant find any unread messages, why could this be?

Agreed... this to.

In regards to the OPs grass issue. Have you tried changing wallpaper and then switching back?

I don't like animated backgrounds much as they seem to make sense UI a little less smooth.

Yes I've tried changing the background, I made sure WIFI was on this time i changed it aswell, it's still night :<

What does that mean? Make sense UI less smooth?

I have exactly the same problem. The grass background is now always blue with stars(night) 24 hours a day. It started 2-3 days ago, before the updated ROM-version was released. Changing time has no effect.
I have tried reset and hard restet, with and without micro-sd. Nothing helps.

Hello, I have the exact same problem. It is dark blue and stars both daytime and nighttime. The first week or so, it worked like a charm. Then it became slightly out of "rythm", but the last week or so, it has been night all the time. Restarting the phone can make it to show sunset for a little while, maybe some hour, but then it goes to night again. Anyone has successfully solved this, what can be done. Have tried to switch to manual time mode (not from operator), changed the background to other types, both "dynamic" and static pictures, but the grass background will always be in night mode once activated.
Any help?
