Hi, i am on Vodafone here in the UK, and am thinking about replacing my 32gs with a HTC Desire, i have a few basic questions.
1. Can you get delivery reports for texts, as the iphone can't, and it's important for me.
2. Can you download email headers only to keep data costs down when roaming.
3. I would like to use my phone as a modem for my laptop, i think it's in the spec, but can someone confirm.
4. Can i assume the bluetooth is not disfunctional, as in the iphone.
That's it for now, but i'm sure i will probably find other questions i have not already found answers to.

Since your on Vodafone you might wanna wait a bit longer and get the Samsung Galaxy S, It has Wifi tethering out of the box and it also has a newer bluetooth 3.0.

As for question 1 yes you can am not sure about 2.

Hi, thanks for the info, as regards which model, i never buy network branded phones, prefering to buy sim free, which is what i shall do with the Desire, as regards the Samsung, never been there, but have read quite a lot regards some models having poor reception, and since i am primarily buying a phone, i need it to have good credentials in this department. It's unfortunate that most reviews cover everything except how good the phone element is.
