Text and vibrate

I tried to see if anyone else had posted this issue, but I didn't, so if this is a double post, then sorry!

On to the issue...my phone isn't vibrating when I recieve a text and the phone's ringer is on vibrate. I know that the text vibrate is a seperate option under the messaging settings and I do have the box checked for it to vibrate. Anyone else having this issue??

yes, this holds true also for email notifications (gmail app).
me and a co-worker have Evo's. mine is on the vibrate profile and his was on a normal profile. we both had our vibration function turned on in the gmail app and it didn't vibrate.

however, apparently it does work with the HTC email app.

but yup, vibration notifications not working for gmail app as well as text messages.

edit: i did a hard reset and now all vibration is working. try that.
