HTC Evo 4G sold out across US

I consider myself lucky. I went in to look at it and after playing around with it for about two minutes decided I HAD to have it.

The customer(s) before me, a guy and his friend, bought four of them. When I got up to the counter I asked if they had any left and she went in back. After a nerve racking 30 seconds she came back and said they had one left.

Fair Oaks Mall, VA Sprint Store shoppers: I got your last EVO. :p

Congrats to Sprint,

but regardless if they sold 200,000 or 600,000 or a million EVO's, it seems that they dropped the ball on not having ordered alot to avoid being out of stock. Come on Sprint, its your first big 4G phone, with 95% of the media praising it before its release, how could you not know it was going to run out. Shame on you Sprint.

Buy yea for us who got them. :D

Really I would have been more surprised if Sprint had had enough units for the rush.

As far as I'm aware, this is their most successful phone to date and there's really no way they could have predicted demand being this high.

Congrats to Sprint and I hope all of the extra cash they're raking in with the $10 fee helps them get their 4G towers up with a quickness.
