Accessories Anyone think EVO w/ a case on is just too big?

My thoughts are that a naked EVO while large, is a perfect size (esp because I have big hands). Plus its sexy.

But I bought that $15 rubbery silicone case from the Sprint store, and my wife got the $20 white snap on alligator leather case from the same store, and I find that when you put on a case, that extra millimeter or so just makes it look TOO BIG. Looks kind of silly when you hold it. (Plus the rubbery case sucks if you want to use the power or volume buttons). I keep it on though mostly cause i'm always worried about dropping it.

Anyone have any suggestions for other cases with a smaller profile? Anyone try the Seidio Innocase yet? I had it on my Nexusone and I loved it. (i've dropped that baby from 5 stairs up onto cement on more than one occasion and it still looked beautiful)

I feel the same way. I have the white carbon fiber case. I don't like it that much, but I really wanted a one piece hard case.

Naked = BING

I really like the Incipio feather cases. They made one for the Droid and the N1, I hope they make one for the EVO soon.

Anyone try the Seidio Innocase yet? I had it on my Nexusone and I loved it. (i've dropped that baby from 5 stairs up onto cement on more than one occasion and it still looked beautiful)

The Innocase is great, IMO. It doesn't add much to any of the phone's dimensions and feels sturdy.

Same here. I didn't think that the body glove case added all that much to the phone...

Like I said in my review of the white case, it only adds a millimeter or two to each side of the EVO, but my only issue is the fact that people are now stopping me asking me if thats the new iphone. I give them the stare of death and tell them no its the EVO. lol

Yes, me. Not to mention, cases are ugly. Just learn how to treat your phone well, and carry it naked.

dude i ****ing LOVE Incipio's designs. almost got a zune HD and was looking at their silicone cases. very nice designs indeed.

edit: and i hope they make a feather case for the Evo. i like the one they have for the N1. i'm gonna email them just to ask lol

I hadn't seen a cover that I think would keep it a good size. Most are just too big. I just slapped a screen protector on it and I think that should work.

I got a hard case from BestBuy. They call it their "platinum series" but if you look on the bottom of the packaging, its made by Seidio. I believe its the Innocase or whatever its called in disguise. Anyway it was $5 off so I got it for $26 after taxes and I'm very pleased with it. Doesn't add too much bulk or weight. it is too pieces, but they fit together nicely. Check the website and see if its available at a store near you.

I've been holding off for a decent case that doesn't make the phone too bulky. Dropped the phone today but no damage. Can't say the same for the Macbook Pro I dropped with it :X Thankfully it's just a ding in the aluminum so it still works.

Id like to find a good holster. The one at the sprint store is ok but you can't plug your headphones without popping a hole it the side. Wtf were they thinking?

i was going to get it, but only reason not, is that
that case adds lip on each side of the screen.
i do not need an barriers, i need to have the full
smooth motion of swiping off the screen

Yes I feel like the phone is huge with the case on...even though the rubber case from sprint doesn't add too much....its just way nicer and the perfect size without it. I only wear the case if I'm going to work or engaging is some sort of intoxicated events lol

The Body Glove case is nice and compact for a hard case and the Amzer Luxe Argyle is by far the best one piece soft case around. Amzer will be shipping the EVO Argyle cases next week. I had one for my Incredible and the fit is slim tight and the smooth glossy finish won't stick in your pockets and catch lint.

i've had the silicone case from sprint, i honestly think it didnt add much bulk at all, and on top of that, its protected.
