Today i am reviewing the Seidio Innocase II Surface and Holster Combo. Now lets get into it!

Case

Right off the bat i loved the feel of the case. It has Seidio's Soft Touch feel to it which makes it very nice and adds a bit of comfort when it comes to grip. The case appeared to be very sturdy and thin. I personally like this because i don't like cases that add a lot of bulk. It does have a felt lining on the inside of the case which i thought was cool because i knew my Incredible wouldn't get scratched while sliding it into the case. Installation of the case was very simple. I simply slid the phone in the top part of the case and then slid the bottom piece on the bottom of the phone until the 2 pieces connected. Once installed the case looked and felt amazing. It was nice and snug to the phone and had a good amount of grip to it without adding a lot of bulk. I also loved the fact that the case provided protection for the protruding camera on the back of the Incredible. This case will sit a little higher than the camera so the camera isn't sticking out anymore thus providing protection for the camera. The cutouts for the Camera, Power button, 3.5mm jack, Back Speaker, Charge Port, and microphone were all cut very nicely and with precision. The sound quality from the back speaker is not affected one bit with this case on, and call quality was not affected either. Picture quality was also still at its best with the case installed. Another thing i really liked is this case still held the Sports Car inspired design of the backing.

Holster

I truly like the holster. The thing i noticed right upon seeing the holster was its sturdy spring clip. I also noticed the felt lining on the inside of the holster which i like because with the face in design this will help keep the screen protected. The clip itself had a strip of rubber on it to prevent the holster from scratching your case when it is clipped in. I like the fact that the front screen faces in so that your phone is protected if you bump into something and hit the holster. The cased phone fits in the holster very well and seems to be held in place nicely. The spring clip does an awesome job of holding the Incredible in the holster. Another thing i liked is the power button is not on the phone is not accessible while in the holster which will prevent an accidental push of the power button. Another thing i liked was the charge port on the phone is not obstructed while in the holster so you can easily charge the phone while keeping it in the holster.

Overall

Overall i think this case and holster combo is very nice. Your phone will be protected while still having tons of style and not adding a lot of bulk. The holster provides a good way to carry your phone on your belt and is very sturdy. I am completely satisfied with this combo. Another great accessory by Seidio!

I only got the case, didn't get the holster. I freaking love it. It added just the right amount of weight and bulk to the phone. I didn't like the feel of it without the case. It felt too thin and too light. It feels more sturdy now and it looks great.

This forum failed me big time on the Steinhell screen protector but it got it right with this case.

Yeah, mine chomps the big turtle dick.

Yeah, not the best installation. You can still correct those easily by using a scotch magic tape. While slightly lifted, use the bubble removal tool and slowly slide to the edges. If you played with it for 10 minutes, you could get rid of ALL those areas. Nothing wrong with the Steinheil if it is put on properly. There is several how to guides on this forum that can be very helpful. I got the Steinheil Crystall Clear and it was my first time doing it, after following the advice on installation tips, I am happy to report that you can't even see it is on there. :)

Received my Seidio case today, and I really like it. Is there a trick to taking it off? I can't seem to get the two pieces to come apart.

Place your thumb in the middle of the bottom part of the case near where the two pieces meet. Press in and "wiggle" the top portion (or bottom portion if you have mad skills). This will release the "latch" and you should be able to "wiggle" it off.

As usual, they put another product out that I am most fond of. The only thing I like more is the Otterbox style, where there is no "indentation" to get to the power/volume buttons. Make the case one "layer" with the same thickness and maybe rubber volume/power buttons like the Commuter for the Droid. If they could retain the same size and thickness, then for sure a top notch product for me.

However, and I reiterate, well done Siedio. Again. In fact I ordered another one for the ex wife I like it so much. Now that's commitment to a product if you ask me. Or pure insanity. Or maybe they are the same thing.

Am I correct, that the instruction state that there are ckips/notches on the SIDES, but mine only has the tab on the BACK?

Mine came with 2 sets of instructions. The 1st set is on the actual back of the Incredible Phone "photo" cardboard and the 2nd was a seperate piece of paper showing the directions to place the thumb in the middle top portion of the bottom piece. My case did not have 2 tabs. Only the one in the center to connect the 2 pieces. I will have to take a look at my ex's when she gets it but I never even looked that close at the cardboard instructions.

I plan to get this case but have a question about the belt clip itself. I suspect that it hooks around the belt so that the entire assembly can not accidentally come off? In other words, does the clip form an L or U shape at the bottom? Can it be accidentally knocked off a belt?

With the line of work I'm in, crawling around swamps and standing over manholes, having the phone come off unintentionally is not an option!

I looked at this case and like it except for the split in the middle - I wondered how that would hold up. What do owners think as I may try it soon? I did buy Body Glove case at VZ and like it so far. It does not block edges at all. I am not using swivel clip as I do not like that - I put the phone with case in a generic leather holster.
