Accessories I need this 3500 mAh battery, like, yesterday.

Trying to be as patient as I can - and trying to alleviate my battery woes every which way I can (even by root-only methods) - and I just can't take it. I need good battery life and I will compromise the sexiness of the device to get it. The only question is "when"? As others have found out, the Hero's 3500 mAh battery is compatible with the EVO, so it shouldn't be an issue of technicality.

I'm sure they need time to think up a design to go well with the EVO 4G's kickstand (personally, I wouldn't mind having it covered up) or to think up a design that includes a kickstand on the back cover itself. But I just wish they would hurry it up. Anyone hear anything new regarding its release date?

dont quote me on this but i think i read on another board that the 3500 mAh battery wont add bulk to the EVO. Could be wrong and misinformed but just passing on the RUMOR

I've heard the 3500 will add 3-4mm to the back. The 1750 (or whatever) should fit with the stock cover.

I, also, am awaiting the 3500 battery

you heard wrong my friend.here are a few pics of the evo with my 3500 mah battery for my hero.the battery does fit but it add lots of bulk.i put the extended cover that came with the battery on the hero and put it side by side with the evo so you can get an idea of what the evo is going to look like with a 3500 mah battery and cover.

They have it for pre order at mobilecity. Cheaper too,53.99. They state that their expected arrival date is 6/30. I call wait either. Hope this helps

Come on now there are several valid reason or situation wheres a person is not always near a wall charger or driving in a car to get an electrical charge for their batttery. The most blatant example is that not many jobs advocate charging your cell phone so you can make personal calls on their clock. People use their phones daily for many different things,who wants to plan their agenda to only go where they will be near a wall socket to charge their phone?

I mean really. People want longer battery life and have plenty of reasons and situations where thats warranted and highly needed. How hard is that for you to accept.
