Waived activation fee for Evo

I just called sprint and asked them to waive the activation fee for my Evo and just like that it was done! She said a lot of people don't know that they'll just do it for you if you ask. I think they'd rather keep a customer that pays $100/month rather than letting them walk over a measly $36 activation fee. Thank God for the 30 day Guarantee, it really works in our favor!!!

I got mine waived too, the first guy only gave me 50% off the fee, and the second person I talked to (after a bit of convincing) took off the rest.

I told them that is one of my breaking points. My employee discount says activation fee is waived and they aren't doing it and had to escalate to retention. Refuse to pay ANY company to open an account and give them my business!

i told them it was ******ed for me to pay them any amount of money after the friday morning activation snafu which left many of us sitting around with our thumbs up our asses.

gave me a $10 credit towards my bill as well as waiving the activation fee.
