Maybe this is a dumb question, but what the heck is the TV-Out option for in the Sound & Display settings?

So you can do something like this. Plug into a monitor and use:

Ah, I see. I can't really see a good use for it, but it's nice to know it's there if I should ever need it...
I can find a million use for it:
1) replace the crappy navigation in my car w/ Google Nav/Satellite Layers
2) Allow people to play Super NES in my car
3) Be able to video skype (later this year) people on a bigger screen.

only 999,997 to go! haha. no, but seriously. as cool as it sounds to do that stuff, i know if it came down to it, i'd be too lazy. except maybe on the nav, but then again, i bought a garmin because i didn't want to use my phone as a nav all the time. response time and signal on the garmin are better than the phone anyway. i don't want to trust cell service over my garmin... just doesn't seem reasonable

watch movies

yeah, i mean, if we sat here long enough we could think of a bunch of stuff i'm sure. but realistically is what i'm saying... i'll never get around to using it, ESPECIALLY if i have to go hunting a cable down. plus i doubt i'd ever watch anything long enough on the phone that i'd need to plug it into a screen. battery wouldn't last anyway ;)
