everytime i have checked my awake time and up time, they are the same! i don't know why! i have had an android phone since feb (had the hero) and it has never done this to me before.

rooted using unrevoked.
don't have wifi, bluetooth, or gps on.
when i check to see what's using my battery from the about phone->battery
-> Battery use i see this :
cell standby 23%
wifi 26% ( just realized it somehow got turned on through the day)
phone idle 24%
android system 12%
voice calls 9%
display 4%
dialer 2%

i can't think of anything else to mention, but PLEASE someone give me some advice as to what is making my phone stay awake! thanks in advance.

What if the top one listed is Slacker Radio?
I use it a lot and seriously love it.

But I get the feeling that Evo ain't sleepin.

What to do?

It means that the program is not closed properly, and its causing your phone not to sleep. When not using the app, make sure to hit the back key until it closes instead of the home key. Some apps can be closed by pressing menu, then exit.

I kinda wondered what was up with the phone too. If I look at my battery indicator app, i see like 160 hours or something stupid for Standby/Sleep.

I go to bed, I wake up and I'm missing 30~40% of my power even if I didn't do anything all night with my phone. I check the HTC battery app and it tells me the Android System is using most of that power.

I've shut off all the things I can shut off

Did you check what was keeping the phone awake with spare parts?
