I'm slowly getting to grips with my Desire after a month and am now delving into alternative launchers. The problem I have is that i'm a widget-holic and the sense widgets i've kind of got used to. I'm on the look out for replacement widgets for :

People
Photo Album
RSS Reader - Must be more than 1 x 4

The RSS reader is probably the most important to me as I can't stand to be without my dose of thedailymash!:)

Any ideas out there?

I would also love a people widget to replace HTC's. I had it set to my favorites when I was using Sense, and it was great to be able to edit that list quickly from within my contacts in gmail. Also, say you have a coworkers or friends group showing, it would be handy if that list automatically udpated as contacts were added to those groups.

i too wanna try out 3rd party launchers and have come across several alternative to sense widgets.

AnyRSS and FeedR are the closest i came across but they are not scrollable and do not provide fullscreen widget. NewsRob is an excellent rss reader but widget only give you number of unread feeds but not the details.

Contacts widgets are easier to find but not sure if they are as good as the htc one. here are two: Contacts! Widget, People / Contacts Widget

I did give both of those a try and was pretty underwhelmed. The second one kept causing launcherpro to FC. I guess I don't know that for sure, but I was getting the FCs when the widget was open and not when it was closed.
