Help!! Before I get in the car heading to BB

My phones has just rebooted 5 times BY ITSELF in the last 15 mins!!! I am not doing anything with it. Currently trying finish a quiz that is due in the next 20 mins and I am sitting here watching my phone reboot itself over and over again!

My problems with my Evo started today...it has been smooth sailing from day one! I posted this earlier.

i'd try a hard reset before driving to the store to return it.

It wont stay on long enough for me to backup all my info..it just rebooted in the middle of a back up. :-(

You tried a hard reset? Restore to factory settings? I know it's a pain, but something will work out.

Yeah...I knew a hard reset was in its future...but I wanted to back up all my Android Home, System Settings, Data, Apps etc. Its kept rebooting each time I tried. It just finished booting up from a hard reset.

Sigh....

Mine did the same thing the other day. I was at Fry's looking for a carrying case. The weird thing is that when I walked in the front door I was getting a 4G signal but when I walked to the back of the store where the cases are located I got "No G"......nothing at all. Then my phone just started rebooting over and over again. It didn't stop rebooting until I moved back towards the front of the store. So I know what you are thinking.......coincidence right? Wrong, I went back to Fry's to return the case that I bought because I found a better one at Best Buy and guess what? When I walked to the back of the store looking for a screen protector this time, reboot! reboot! reboot! These were the only two times this has happened to me. Could it have something to do with losing both 3G and 4G service?

WOW! It should not reboot when trying to find signal...just as it shouldn't behave that way while sitting on the arm of my couch. I did a hard reset...which blows...but hopefully the seizure my phone had was an isolated incident.
