So I see a lot of people curious about either getting and Evo or what to do with their Evo. I wanted to create a thread where we could all list our top 5 must have apps. I know that there was another thread started for apps, but people started posting there ENTIRE app brain list and it takes quite a while to scroll through them. So ONLY post your top five that you couldn't live without. And maybe some new users (including myself) can get a great idea of what this phone is capable of and get some more people off the fence without having to sift through the endless amount of apps on the marketplace.

Here we go (in no particular order)

1. Dropbox
2. Mobisle Notes
3. LED Flashlight
4. Extended Controls
5. Pandora

oh really? what's it called?

edit: nvm, i see how to do it. i had no idea. yup, still learning some things here and there for sure. thanks.
Its just a ringtone trimmer.

When your on your music screen listening to the song you want as a ringtone just click menu--Set as ringtone--Trim Ringtone. Then trim it and set it as default or contact.

It's hard for me to pick top 5. Lots of my uses are the basic stuff like calendar, mail, messaging, web, etc. As far as commonly used apps, I guess Facebook, Foursquare, various podcast and shoutcast apps for listening to streams, etc. So far I have been mainly tweaking and messing around with settings since the phone is new. After a month I think my usage will be more representative and I can give a better answer.

Mainly my phone is for communication, productivity, and a bit of entertainment.

1) Google Navigation
2) Audible.com

3, 4, & 5 are tbd. I'm really still getting used to android and the stock apps. I've never had a decent camera or internet on my phone so I've been using those two a lot. I also like the hotspot but probably only because it's free with 4g now. I probably won't keep it once they start charging.
