Accessories Get a screen cover now!! The Evo screen is NOT scratch proof!

I am sure you can imagine how I am stating this with such authority. *sigh*

It happened on the very day my phantomskinz arrived, no less.

Yeah seriously. There is a video that was made by a member here that took a razorblade and screw to the screen without a hitch. You must have dropped it?

I noticed a scratch on my screen today too. Luckily, it's not on the display, but rather down below the "home" key. I have no idea how it got there; I've been really careful with the phone. I haven't dropped it, and I only carry it in my pocket by itself.

Yeah, I'm considering a screen protector now though. At least my scratch is not on the display.

I have absolutely no idea whatsoever how I scratched it.

I have not dropped the phone. I keep it in my pocket with a leather wallet (no metal on it at all), paper money, and a plastic metrocard holder. Keys and coins and metal zippo lighter are ALWAYS in my other pocket.

That's it. No clue how it happened.

When the screen is clean, it is barely visible, but smudges & fingerprints on the screen really bring it out.

I'm hoping when I put the screen cover on tonight it will hide it completely, but I think it is equally likely that the cover will make it even more obvious.

I use a belt case with a real soft inside too it, so My screen's never really get scratched, although I also use the plastic protectors too. I ordered a clarivue (Spelling?) anti glair protector a few days ago. Im waiting for it to get here.

well as soon as bb handed me my phone i got a skin put right on it wasn't going to take any chances its too nice of a screen to have it messed up no way no how i got the zagg one i like it so far i used the same on when i had my htc hero and i had it one the call buttons and my buttons have never faded
