Root Rooting Behold 2 problem, can someone help?

Hi guys, I've been trying to root my behold2 using the instructions on BH_Man's guide and have been running into some problems. I was able to successfully get the USB drivers to install on my behold to and was able to get android SDK up and running and it's able to detect my phone. I have also already downloaded the try3.dat and the superuser.apk files and have placed them into my tools folder in my sdk folder. the su.dat file is also placed in the root of my SD card. The problem I'm running into now is inputting the command prompts. It seems to be working fine for the first few inputs until I get to the following step, where it will then say "permission denied"

/data/local/try3 /system/bin/sh

I have also tried inputting this command both with and without the ".dat" at the end of try3, but I get permission denied either way.

Here is a screenshot of my screen.
Can someone tell me if there's something I'm doing wrong? I'm currently using Windows 7 64 but professional if that matters. If so, is there a different command prompt that I have to input or any settings that I have to change? I really want to install 1.6 w/o touchwiz but have been really frustrated with how hard it is the root this phone.

Thanks guys

BH_Man, can you please point me in the right direction on what part I'm doing wrong? I'm very new to this whole command prompt thing (I'm not very techy), so I'm very unaware if my mistakes are very basic.

When I look at my settings, it says my Kernal version is 2.6.27 (updated Jan 16, 2010)? Has anyone with this Kernal version been able to root their phones? I'm really hoping that this version can still be rooted. I really need to run epocrates on this phone and samsung's update seems so far away =/

sorry again BH_Man for the newbie questions (this stuff is kinda over my head). But how would I go about repairing permissions? I was under the impression that after installin the usb drivers/apndroidsdk/and putting the extra files in the approrpriate folders, I would just input those command lines line by line in window
command prompt, hitting enter at the end of every line? Can you please specify more by what you mean by me only running the command only and not doing any of the steps? Again I apologize since I'm sure this information is probably very basic to everyone on this forum, but I'm kinda completely lost here.
